Let us introduce you to Alex Chaney – digital artist.

Furies Magazine: What is it about creating that gets you fired up?

Alex Chaney: What gets me excited to create something is the possibility to inform and delight someone else.  I also enjoy the challenge of making something new or inventing something.  But actually I am pretty fired up about everything these days, so I only need to fan the flames in one direction or another depending on which way the wind is blowing.

FM: What inspires you to create?

AC: I am inspired by people most of all.   Also animals and plants and the occasional inanimate object.

FM: Do you network with other artists or are you a recluse?

AC: I’m a recluse artist who networks with other recluse artists.  Haha.  I kid, I kid.  I love working with other artists.  I haven’t worked on many collaborations since my college days, but I’m always open to the opportunity.

FM: Have you ever killed anyone?

AC: If I told you the answer to that question I’d have to kill you…
